Website Financing
Fri, 06/06/2008 - 17:21 — globond
Although
Yandell and Company is an equipment financing and leasing company, for
several years now, we have been financing end user software purchases.
Many corporations balk at the idea of writing large checks for software
products. By financing the purchase, these corporations free up much
needed cash that can be used for other projects. Recently, Yandell took
a further step when we realized that the major component of e-commerce
websites is actually software. We are now offering website financing,
and have partnered with fellow Globonder, Yao-Hui Huang and her website
development company Gigapixel Creative to provide financing to her
clients.
We are
delighted to offer this service, but given the nature of the
collateral, our requirements are fairly strict.

“Intent: Exploring the Core of Being Human”
Thu, 05/22/2008 - 18:53 — globond
Globonder Samia Bahsoun read Etsko's book on the plane on her way to Egypt. Here is what she has to say about it: Etsko Schuitema’s book, “Intent: Exploring the
Core of Being Human” could be easily re-entitled: “A recipe for evolution”
where maturity, scaled from birth to death, takes a whole new meaning. Through
a series of well articulated distinctions and paradigm shifts, Etsko progressively
takes the student through an “intent” based growth model, where
time as we know it no longer exists, a model aimed at altering our
world’s “all about me” mindset for freedom sake.

Style Arbiter. With his background in
design, tailoring and image consulting, Rodney is the right Globonder to keep
us all looking our best as we make appearances and have meetings around the
world. He will head up the Globond Style
Forum which we will launch shortly, and where Globonders can ask him questions
about various “fashion faux” pas or “expression emergency”. For now, Rodney would like to share a few
basics with Globonders and Friends, no matter what country or city they happen
to be in:
